Here's the Job Description *Senior SAN Admin - Houston TX - Must be only GC or Citizen * *6 to 12 Months* · Hands-on experience with IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC) · Experience providing day-to-day operational support and storage engineering of IBM SVC. · In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with leading disk vendors such as; IBM, EMC, Hitachi Data Systems, HP, and NetApp · Experience with Cisco MDS or Brocade storage networking · Experience performing storage administration and configuration and using both GUI and CLI versions of platform management tools · Well versed using host-based Logical Volume Managers · Experienced executing data migrations using both host-based and array-based methods · Identify where to use SAN-based storage solutions and where to use NAS-based storage solutions · Scripting experience using Perl, shell, or others · Experience configuring and using storage array based snapshot and clone technologies · Experience with administration of storage array based replication solutions including when to use synchronous and when to use asynchronous · Experience with host remediation activities such as reviewing vendor support matrix, updating HBA drivers, installing host agents, APIs, and command line software · Experience gathering data on host and storage array configurations using Operating Systems commands, storage vendor software commands, and using tools such as EMC Grab or similar · Experience assessing storage performance using storage array performance management and reporting software · Understanding of storage tiering, vendor software that automates movement of data between tiers, and storage virtualization methods · Experience provisioning and assigning storage for VMware and Hyper-V hosts · Experience performing storage administration for Unix, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems or Mainframe · Inherit practice of thorough production assurance within the area of responsibility *Thanks* *Chetan Mintex technologies INC 50, Craigwood Road , Southplainfield NJ 07080 732-889-1305 Email: [email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
