The GME IT Business Solutions team is a global team responsible for: · Strategy Development · Governance · Solution Delivery · Enterprise Solutions Organization We are currently transforming our technology infrastructure in line with the bank strategic initiatives and Business Solution team is envisioned to be a key liaison among cross business lines and technology partners. *Key Responsibilities: * The business analyst will work with the business, operations, and technology partners to understand their requirements and provide detailed project artifacts. The business analyst will be responsible for collecting, defining, and developing of the business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans supporting the end to end delivery to the NA Equity business. In addition to the above, the role will also include mentoring less experience team members and assisting Regional Head in managing the day to day ad-hoc business request. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong performer with excellent analytical skills to join a rapidly expanding DB Equities Middle Office Business area. *Primary Responsibilities: * · Establish strong partnerships with the business, operations, and cross-functional technology teams · Consults with businesses to effectively drive business strategies forward through the optimal use of technology. · Communicate business priorities to the technology organization accordingly, in order to drive effective business solutions. · Analyze business processes, products, and operations to create detailed business requirements. Communicate these requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of the businesssolution. · Contributes in defining test strategy and testing approach for assigned projects. · Educates the team on future direction of the assigned businessline. · Educates the assigned business on the current direction of IT · Contributes to continuous improvement and promotes leverage of successful products and processes from across IB Technology. · Proactively supports knowledge sharing within the team and across IB Technology, for example, regularly holds information sharing sessions. · Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. · Pushes creative thinking beyond boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets. *Qualifications * *Key Skills: * · Has strong analytical skills and track record obtained from one of the top investment banks. · Deep understanding of Equity business and technologies, with specific expertise in the Electronic trading and Program Trading businessarea. · Is motivated and self starter · Has excellent communication skills (written and verbal), explain and/or negotiate new ideas/concepts, obtain commitment/resources for prioritizing projects · Has strong teamwork skills including promoting cooperation and good working relationships among team members, remaining positive and supportive during change, and building rapport and trust within Technology, Operations and Business organization. *Experience Required: * · Typically has strong background in IT business analysis at least 5 yrs within one of the leading financial institutions. · Experience in Business Analysis for front office trading systems, focus on Program Trading area (Single Stock and DMA will be beneficial). · Requires experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts (mapping of as-is and to-be processes). · Requires strong front office business knowledge of Equity Trading · Creation of quality Business Requirements and Functional specifications and working closely with the developers in the creation of Technical specs. · Creation of a full test strategy, test scripts, and recognizing needs around testing and integration would be a significant advantage. · Holds comprehensive expertise in the software development process (SDLC experience is a plus). · Experience in IT Deliveries to the business users and IT Project handover to the support team. · Facilitate training with the business users and operations teams. · Ability to work across multiple regions and multiple businessgroups · Ability to balance interest of different stakeholders · Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organization. *Qualifications: * · University degree or experience equivalent; · Professional BA Qualifications desirable; · Equity Business product knowledge; *Thanks* *Chetan Mintex technologies INC 50, Craigwood Road , Southplainfield NJ 07080 732-889-1305 Email: [email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
