*Note: Please share profiles to [email protected]* *Position: Data Architect* *Location: Jersey City, NJ* *Duration: Long Term* *Job Description: * • Data Architect - Investment Accounting systems • SimCorp - Investment Accounting systems • CADIS/MARKIT Investment Data Warehouse • Data architecture as it relates to security, the design of systems, applications and data management solutions. • Working knowledge of Data Management and Business Intelligence concepts, principles, and practices is key • Significant knowledge and working understanding of key core accounting and portfolio management principles required • Engagement management experience in implementing mid to large sized accounting platforms and / or significant experience in re-engineering multiple legacy platforms into one • Solid understanding of various investment management data domains, such as investment accounting, asset reference data, client/account reference, performance, attribution and analytics. • Significant hands-on experience (15+ years) with the following systems: • Familiarity with data dictionary, data governance, data stewardship concepts and tools • Solid SQL query skills and SharePoint development skills • Exceptional analytical skills, with ability to take a holistic view as well as understand the details • Ability to work in a disciplined development environment, including the use of a project management methodologies and system development lifecycles • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to create free-flowing information environment • Results-oriented and delivery-focused; achieve results under difficult conditions and demonstrate balanced judgment under pressure; set high performance for self; pragmatic and persistent • Investment industry experience a must • Work with technology teams and business users to gather and define requirements, then determine all possible data management options. • In addition to providing multiple options for data management, the Senior Architect should be able to clearly present these options in terms that all can understand and relate to their various needs. • Data governance and long term scalability of the database environment. • Design, develop and implement strategic data models for enterprise applications and systems. • The Data Architect will act as the primary advocate of the modeling methodologies and data processing best practices • Define and document requirements in collaboration with business segment personnel • Review business models, process and data flows, and ensuring that proposed solutions are compatible with the firms strategic direction • Seek to identify potential issues and work to ensure these are resolved in a timely manner • Work with developers on the file extract specifications, developing test scripts and testing of the data extracts and uploads • Contribute to the configuration of the operational data store, data marts, EDM tools, and the information delivery platforms • Provide expertise and knowledge of the Investment Management industry, data management platforms and information delivery/business intelligence tools and technologies • Collaborate with the Program Management to apply Project Management best practices • Develop a strong understanding of business requirements, working with PM/BA and business users to define system and process specifications • Engage with business users to source, analyze and validate business data • Develop report specification based on reporting requirements • Lead and execute the development and configuration of data uploaders, exporters, messages, data marts, business views, reports and queries • Assist in the development and rollout of metadata management tools Education and Training -- *Thanks & Regards* *Syed Layeeq Ahmed* *Cloudeeva Inc* ** *(Formerly Bartronics America, Inc.)* 104- Windsor Center Drive, Suite-300, East Windsor, New jersey- 08520 *Phone No:* 732 593 8464 *Email: * [email protected] *Web:* http://cloudeeva.com *Gmail: *syedstaffing *Yahoo: *syedstaffing Please consider the environment before printing this email Please do not print this email unless it is absolutely necessary.
