Job Title : Network Engineer
Location: Bedminster, NJ
Duration: 3 Years Contract
Job Description:
The position will require technical competency in Frame Relay, ATM, AGN,
and IMA services. Candidates applying for this position will need to
possess a broad technical knowledge and understanding of large scale,
LAN/WAN networks. An understanding of OSI layer 3 with focus on OSPF, BGP,
MPLS, LDP, IPv4 and IPv6 and Multicast is required. In addition to layer 3
the candidate must have extensive knowledge of layers 1 and 2 of the OSI
model. They must have experience in working on circuits from T1 up to 10
gigE.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
in a 7x24 environment are required. Familiarity with Operations
applications systems is also necessary. The candidate must possess the
expertise and leadership skills to serve in a team lead capacity and
support Network Events Managers in performing complex assignments and
providing support for troubleshooting and maintaining IP networks
