*Financial Reporting Analyst*** *Location**: Stamford, CT* *Duration: 6 plus month*** *Rate**: 55**/**per hour range-depending on the consultant’s experience.* *This is an on- site role that would require the consultant to have the ability to interview on-site with the client…* Seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst Level- III for a six (6) plus month contract role with our direct financial client located in Lower Connecticut. This an on-site role. Candidate must have the ability to interview on-site in Connecticut with the client. This is a fast moving group who will require a consultant who can effectively adhere to tight deadlines, deal effectively with ever growing disclosure and reporting requirements and data requests and monitor controls over reporting. *Overview:* Selected consultant will be responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial models for financial planning and control. Analyze and report on financial performance of projects and programs. Creates metrics/reporting for senior management. Analyze variances, trends and provides decision support for internal customer. Budget preparation. *Required Background:* *An Accounting Degree is a mandatory**.* *Five plus years of Financial Reporting experience.* Experience working with Oracle is preferred Strong Knowledge of Excel (s-base tools, pivot tables) Strong experience with statutory reporting is key. Knowledge of Accounting, adjustments and balance sheets. Financial Reporting experience within the securities/banking industry would be considered a plus. *Experienced individual with strong background in the following*: Financial Analysis: Applies principles of finance to analyze and prepare financial operations/statements Data Analysis - Maintains accurate records in database, Generates reports and analyze/present data.
