Location: Birmingham, AL

Length: 6 month contract



Extensive experience with BMC Remedy ITSM, versions 7 and up.  A background
in customizing and upgrading ITSM to newer versions, and migration
experience

*-Migration (convert old reports to new reports using analytics)*

SUMMARY:

·         *7+ years* of experience as an *IT* professional.

·         *ITIL* Certified IT Service Management professional

·         Experience in *installing/upgrading/configuring *Remedy *ARS
Server 5.x/6.x/7.x* with *Oracle 9i/10g/11g,* *MS SQL Server 2000/ 2005*.

·         Extensive experience in Remedy ITSM Applications: *Help Desk,
Change Management, SLA, Asset Management, CMDB *and Custom Applications and
integrations using ARS platform.

·         Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of
projects –*System
study, Analysis, Design *and *Develop, Resource planning, testing *and
implementing business applications.

·         Good understanding and knowledge on *Atrium CMDB 1.x /2.x*

·         Strong Remedy Development and Administration skills with *Remedy
ARS 5.x, 6.x, 7.x *including* ITSM suite *and* Mid-Tier.*

·         Good experience of* CMDB* and *SRM*.

·         Strong knowledge of using Remedy APIs in C, Java environments.

·         Experience in* upgrading of ITSM suite from 5.5 to 6.0 *and* 6.x
to 7.5*

·         Experience in* setting up of CMDB 1.1 *and* 2.0*

·         Experience in* configuring/maintaining/customizing ITSM 5.5 / 6.0
/ 7.x*

·         Experience in* performance tuning of Remedy Setups*

·         Remedy Specialty areas using ITIL best practices - *Incident/Problem
Management, Change Management, Asset Management*, and* SLA.*

·         Writing high-level *test Plans* and *Test cases* based on the
baseline requirements.

·         Good understanding and experienced   in setting up MSP sharing.

·         Worked on various platforms including Windows, Solaris, UNIX,
Linux and AIX.

·         Expertise in using Remedy tools and utilities such as *Remedy
Migrator 6.x/7.x, Remedy Import 6.x/7.x, Remedy Flashboards, Remedy
Approval Server.*

·         Performed various system administration duties that include
Installation of Software Providing support for users applying patches to
O.S, troubleshooting Operating System.

·         Good experience in setting up, Configuring TELCOM.

·         Good understanding of *Remedy Mid-tier system, Web Services,
Crystal Reports.*

·         Experience of Designing, Developing and integrating different
applications.

·         Highly experienced in gathering and analyzing requirements from
the clients and end users.

·         Good communication, analytical and project management skills.
