BRM Technology, a completely business aligned technology group, is responsible for all technology initiatives within BRM that encompass functions right from funding to liquidity. These include systems that do Counterparty Portfolio Management for OTC Derivatives, Prime Brokerage Risk and Margin functions, Repo & Stock Loan Sales & Trading, the firms mission critical Regulatory Reporting & Calculation systems and a number of cross functional groups like Collateral Optimization and Funding Optimization. Collateral and Segregation management (CASM) is a set of applications which handle the possession and control area of Settlements. These applications employ multiple technologies to guarantee protection of customer assets as per regulatory guidelines, while also ensuring available collateral is selected for utilization in a mathematically optimal fashion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, able to multi-task, familiar with multiple technologies, particularly Java, and be interested in working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Skills Required 2-5 years of Java experience (Java 1.6 preferred) Spring 3.0 Multi threaded programming Need to demonstrate in-depth understanding of OO principles and design patterns. Good knowledge of relational database concepts (Sybase preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills. Need to interact with business and operations.
