There is some custom software development that will occur likely by SAS. · Select, implement a SAS Grid solution for Supply/Engineering and for M&S. The solution for Supply is a new system, the solution for M&S would be a migration to the new SAS system from the existing SAS system. Supply, Engineering, and the SAS vendor. · Perform the BA role for a national freight database used by Marketing. They have some basic needs identified and we need a BA to work to spec a solution that will provide UP with views into the freight volumes flowing between OD pairs in the US, Mexico and Canada for all modes of transportation. We likely have the data sources identified from some of this, but not all. Someone that is familiar with BI and data warehousing would be ideal. Also someone with Marketing experience with market data and analytics is ideal.
