*Send me your consultant resume and contact details…..ASAP* * * * **Senior Business Analyst* *Location: Culver City, CA* *Duration: 6 months* *Interview: Phone and face to face/ skype (local candidates preferred)* *Job Description* The senior business analyst will provide functional and QA application support on various projects within the IT Production Applications Services (PAS) group. This includes serving as the liaison between the business and technical groups, gathering and documenting business requirements, designing business processes, developing high level application designs, partnering with technical teams on technical design, and financial analysis or modeling. This will be in support of business analytics, enhancements to existing applications, new applications, responding to support requests for vendor and systems in production, and support the QA process. *This position will:* · Communicate with the business users and/or functional team to develop business requirements and analyze information needs, delivering the following artifacts as needed: Functional Requirements, Business Requirements Documents, Use Cases, Wireframes, Analytics Deliverables, Test Cases, and User Guides. · Serve as the strategic interface between the users and the vendor and/or internal IT groups to resolve problems and fulfill requests for functions supported by the team. · Understand, communicate, and manage user expectations for systems supported with potential to support other systems with the PAS group · Conducts requirements knowledge transfer sessions with the technical team · Work with technical teams to identify options to meet business requirements · Work with PM and technical team to develop project cost estimates and resource plans · Develop test scenarios and either test or oversee testing prior to delivery to business users; coordinate with internal QA resource pool as needed · Lead and perform functional testing, includes coordination of QA and UAT tasks · Write user manuals and conduct training · Support implementation of structured development and QA process · Participate in team strategic planning, supporting the initial analysis and assessment of proposed projects leading to the development of business cases and cost/benefit analysis · Work with business users to document and re-engineer business processes · Provide application support as needed · Be proactive in identifying enhancement work for existing applications *Job Qualifications* · MBA or equivalent work experience · 4-6 years Business analyst experience, which includes generating functional requirements documentation · 2-4 years experience supporting web-based / vendor applications · 2-4 years project experience using formal software methodologies · Experience with financial modeling · Experience with data analytics · Previous entertainment industry experience strongly desired (preferably in production) · Extensive business analysis experience in large corporate environments, previous consulting experience a big plus · Experience with web-based application development · Experience with production finance · Experience leading small projects or teams · General knowledge of the filmed entertainment industry, previous experience at a major studio is a plus · Experience working within an offshore model a plus *Attributes* · Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills · Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with a wide range of people from executive management to offshore developers · Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to present complex technical information to non-technical business users · Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and adjust to frequent changes in requirements and deadlines · Focused on delivering results · Works independently with minimal supervision · Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet project deadlines *Illustrative Initial Specific Assignments* · C2 Focus Enhancements o Familiarize with C2 Focus and Motion Pictures Production process.
