*Send me the profile to [email protected] or call 408 620 4892.* *BI Data Architect*** *St' Louis, MO* The responsibilities of this function involve architecting technical solutions utilizing the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack to create analytical and visualization solutions in support of internal business initiatives. This role will have particular emphasis on identifying solutions surrounding data models to support those solutions. This may include, but is not limited to, identification and design of data models, design of supporting ETL process(es) to manage the data, and recommendations for creating a sustainable, scalable environment to support business needs. The Data warehouse currently maintains data stores in Oracle, Netezza and SQL-Server repositories. Experience: The following experience is desired for this role: • 5-7 years’ experience supporting Business Intelligence solutions • 3-5 years architecting Business Intelligence solutions. • Demonstrated experience working with business and technical teams. to determine data approaches required to support business solutions. • Experience with Microsoft SSAS Cubes/Tabular modeling, SSIS package creation and data integration with SQL Server is required. • SQL skills are required. • Experience with Microsoft MDX and DAX is a plus. • Demonstrated experience with creation/maintenance of source data stores including optimization strategies for included components. • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and support business intelligence applications in a Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack configuration: • SSIS SQL Server Integration Services • SSAS SQL Server Analysis Services • SSRS SQL Server Reporting Services o Power Pivot o Performance Point o Power View o Excel Services • SQL Server - Database infrastructure • Ability to manage multiple project initiatives is required. • Strong communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business teams is required. • Experience with Oracle and Netezza data repositories is a plus. • Experience with security models associated with managing access to BI information is a plus. • Demonstrated experience with migration among business intelligence products is a plus.
