Position: Java Developer with Akka Location: BROOMFIELD CO
Duration: 6 months Develop applications using Java and Akka. Candidate should have good understanding of asynchronous development concepts. Should be familiar with concurrency and parallelism in development. Should have conceptual exposure to fault-tolerance. Exposure to at least 1 Agile development process. Candidate should enjoy learning relevant frameworks and API’s and working on fun teams! Additional Required experience: • REST experience, preferably using Apache CXF • Exposure network monitoring tools, Xymon, Nagios, etc • Experience or exposure to performance logging • If no Akka experience, should be able to read and summarize first 6 chapters of “Akka Concurrency Position: Middleware Java developer Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ Duration: Min 12-18 month’s contract There are 3 openings for this role. SKILLS 5+ Experience with design and development of middleware software including: shared application services, database services, security, networking, etc. 5+ years of proficiency in Java 1.6+, Spring, HTML, Oracle 11g, JDBC, J2EE HTTP(S)/SOAP/WSDL, Web Services Interoperability and Standards, MQ/JMS, FTP/SFTP 3+ years of experience in a Service Oriented Architecture based projects 3+ years of knowledge in Enterprise Service Bus technologies and Web services is mandatory Knowledge in IBM Datapower XI50/XI52 is a huge plus Knowledge in Acord framework is a big plus Knowledge in security technologies including security tools/protocols and LDAP repositories Knowledge in Data warehousing technologies, ETL technologies, and Business Intelligence tools is a plus Knowledge in architecture frameworks and architecture modeling tools is a big plus. Experience in technology product evaluation and selection, including both software and hardware technologies.
