*Line Manager – Senior Test Manager*

*KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS*

·         We are looking for a self-motivated, talented, innovative, and
highly technical candidate to take on the role of Performance Tester within
product development who is already on a path as a “career performance
tester”

·         The potential candidate must be enthusiastic, articulate and have
demonstrated examples of testing software and data deliverables through
considered use of structured testing/exploratory methods.

·         The candidate will has knowledge of various performance tools,
understanding value vs. cost in advising performance approach

·         The candidate must be able to articulate and demonstrate a
technical bias to their testing achievements, on a complex software stack
comprised of a range of specific technologies as well as an eagerness to
improve their on-going technical knowledge to enhance their test
effectiveness.

·         A “can do” and “delivery focus” attitude is required, with an
awareness of test schedules and planning commitments.

·         Highly analytical and detail oriented in their thinking and
confident in sharing their point of view, but also with a collaborative
team outlook to problem solving and timely resolution

*WORK EXPERIENCE*

·         Commercial experience in a *mid-sized development & testing teams*
.

·         Experience working with tools such as *Neoload and Loadrunner*.

·         Experience of *impacting performance* across the software stack,
e.g. both through the *UI and within the database*.

·         Experience *analysing results* and *producing detailed
performance reports*.

·         Previous roles of Senior or highly *experienced Performance Test
Engineer *or similar

·         *Testing within Agile/Scrum methodology*.

·         Demonstrated experience in *proving/improving data quality and
understanding data flow through systems*

·         Demonstrated experience in *day to day testing activities within
a project*

·         Demonstrated capability to *drive out non-functional precise
technical test design and implement this design in test material to be
executed*

·         Demonstrated *examples of working with developers and
understanding architecture design and build with the ability to QA*

·         Demonstrated experience of *hands on testing*

·         Experience of working as a *developer in the technologies
mentioned*

·         Utilized *smart test design* for *defect detection efficiency,
regression and automation*

·         *Undertaken QA of development/data outputs to ensure they have
been appropriately exercised for acceptance into testing*

·         Development background, Service integration testing (Microsoft,
Java, Net, MicroStrategy, SQL, Scripting and highly scaled n tier
architectures)

·         Experience of *Analytical data testing* and *SQL* is essential

* *

*Strongly Desirable*

·         Formal test qualifications and/or engineering, sciences,
mathematics or computer sciences background

·         Experience of working with TFS and Microsoft Test Manager
