Title: Data Analyst Location : Grand Rapids MI Start: ASAP End: 2/1/14 (fiscal) C2C Rate: $43 This position will be reporting to the Enterprise Business Intelligence area of IT. Technical Skills 1) Must have worked on database projects. 2) Must have worked with relational database platforms (Teradata, DB2, SQL –server, Oracle etc.) 3) Must have experience analyzing data and relationships, and ability to present that using software tools. 4) Must have experience working with various data types, data entities and their attributes, data sources, file formats of large volume systems. 5) Should have performed mapping activities using standardized templates. 6) Should have worked in a project environment with multiple team members. 7) Should have experience with document version control and document repositories like TFS. 8) Should have developed test cases, based on business logic and data requirements 9) Should be able to perform data validations based on given requirements. 10) Must have working experience of MS Office. 11) Desirable to have working knowledge of a data modeling tool. (Erwin, ER studio, System Architect etc.) 12) Desirable to have knowledge of Extract Transform and Load processes related to Relational databases. Soft Skills 1) Must be detailed oriented and well organized. 2) Must have taken initiatives to take the given task to completion.
