Madison College Request for Certified Project Manager Madison College intends to hire a Certified Project Manager. The College is seeking a highly experienced project manager to manager our Workday ERP Implementation Project. Project Summary Madison College plans to be live with Workday HCM and Finance on July 1, 2014. The project is large and complex and addresses the following: • Conversion of data from our PeopleSoft HRMS and Finance Applications • Creation of a data archive for required historical data (PeopleSoft applications will be retired) • Facilitating the redesign of business processes to both streamline business process and adapt to Workday delivered functionality • Application Security • Integrations between Workday and both our on premise applications and 3rd party vendors • Single sign-on/authentication • Working closely with technical staff to coordinate and facilitate the definition, prioritization, analysis, development, testing and implementation of delivered functionality. Solutions for functionality gaps. We expect Workday will not meet 100% of our compliance requirements. We will need to identify and develop solutions for any gaps. Workday is our Engagement partner and discovery sessions are currently underway. A project structure has been defined and includes a Steering committee and change management team. Candidates must be Certified in Project Management (whether PMI/PMP or equivalent) and will be required to work on site at our Truax Campus. Weekly schedule can be flexible. Basic Qualifications • Outstanding verbal and written skills are essential. • Experiencing in managing large, complex Enterprise application projects. • Experience in persuading business areas to adopt standard procedures that may not meet 100% of their business needs. • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks. • Demonstrated experience leading without direct authority. • Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery. • Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team on complex tasks. • Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences. • Effective planner and organizer. • Ability to manage multiple sub-project leads/business area leads/project managers. • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation experience. • Experience with PeopleSoft. • Highly desired – experience with Workday.
