Responsibilities include the planning, design and implementation of application and data maintenance software systems. * * *Typical Duties: * Designs, implements and maintains database code objects, including stored procedures and views, in cooperation with application developers, and in accordance with database standards and best practices. Designs, implements and maintains database code scripts to validate and/or maintain data external to the application. Manages and performs detailed testing of database objects and scripts; performs code reviews. Writes and maintains specifications and documentation for database objects and scripts. Contributes to the design of the data model for new applications and application modifications/enhancements. Identifies SQL code performance issues and optimizes SQL code for performance. *Required Technical Skills / Experience: * Extensive experience in client-server application development using *T-SQL *required.
