We are looking for the Sr. VOIP engineer for a 6+ month contact Location: Minneapolis, MN
Interview:- phone or skype. A VoIP Sr. Engineer is expected to be knowledgeable of all the technical aspects of the overall solution. ***MUST have Telecomm experience and ACME Packet experience- this is main requirement! * This resource: 1. Must have solid working knowledge with VoIP, IPT, SIP solutions (IPPBX, SBC, Session Management, etc.) – specifically Acme Packet and Cisco 2. Is responsible for adding to the overall design and confirming that the design meets all of the customer’s design requirements 3. Is responsible for executing all design impacting changes in the Acme environment 4. Is responsible for providing guidance and change requests to MNSO for required standard changes 5. Is responsible for executing any high priority or expedited standard changes in the Acme environment (expected 1-2 expedited changes per week) 6. Is responsible for providing one cohesive design to the customer and being responsible for updating the overall documentation, per the customer’s design requirements 7. Is responsible for the assisting the customer with the interaction (exchange of data) between components in the solution (i.e. Avaya and Cisco) 8. Is responsible for assisting with the communication with the vendor partners that provide solution components (i.e. Cisco, Lotus) to ensure that the vendor software can support the design (sizing, capacity and functionality). 9.
