Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement. *Title: Sr. SAS Developer * *Location: Perrysburg, OH.* *Duration: 3-6 month* * * * * *ROLE:* - The SAS Developer role is responsible for developing SAS applications using sound, repeatable, industry best practices and in accordance with agile software development methodology. The SAS Developer will lead the design and development of manufacturing and business intelligence solutions using SAS. - Development activities will include configuration updates to existing software and/or developing new programs to address a particular business need. This includes a feasibility review of the development effort for new requirements, identification of risks, and time estimation of development effort. In addition to leading and conducting development, migration and testing activities; this role will coach junior developer team members and business SMEs. - The position will also require developing advanced reports and content using macros and stored processes. * * * * *RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Design and develop high quality SAS application architecture to support solutions that are highly efficient (fast), supportable, and follows best practices. • Develop dashboards containing interactive reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, drillable views, snapshots and trend analysis. • Design, develop and test software to implement quantitative models, system /user interface, and required data transformations. • Support production systems by researching and diagnosing issues, answering user/business questions, and rectifying issues as required. • Produce appropriate project documentation including technical designs and testing plans and results. • Providing knowledge transfer and mentoring to users * * *REQUIRED SKILLS:* • Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience • At least 6 years’ of SAS Programming and Architecture experience • Deep experience with the design and development of SAS applications using- o SAS Data Integration Studio o SAS Enterprise Guide o SAS Information Map Studio o SAS Information Delivery Portal o SAS BI Dashboard o SAS Web Report Studio o SAS OLAP Cube Studio • Should have in depth ability to write SAS code using Base SAS, DATA STEP, PROC SQL, and SAS/MACRO language to access and manipulate data to be used in analysis and reporting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills * * *DESIRED SKILLS:* • SAS/QC , SAS/STAT and SAS/Graph • SAS Enterprise Case Management • SAS Management Console • SAS Certification is a plus • JMP • SQL • Familiarity with administering the SAS platform from the SAS Management Console in a Windows environment Thanks and Regards, Arjun/InfoTech Spectrum Inc.
