Will be giving an Oracle 11GR2 for Developers test, 6 months + in Long Island, NY
Seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a long-term consulting assignment. Responsibilities: . Write PL/SQL packages, stored procedures & functions as part of product development . Assist the software development team in query performance tuning; Help identify inefficient queries / methods . Follow SDLC standards, naming conventions, change control, documentation . Actively address Developer and Business Unit requests, clearly communicating commitments, issues, completion dates and status with all stakeholders and management Required Skills: . 7+ years experience with advanced knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL; Oracle 11g R2 is desired . Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts . Strong analytical skills . Knowledge of ETL tools . Knowledge of MySQL is a plus . Knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS is a plus . Knowledge of Java is a plus . Strong problem solving skills, ability and desire to learn new technologies . Excellent written and verbal communications skills . Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus . Experience in Healthcare is a plus .
