JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: · Translates business requirements to describe how to implement the system and performs detailed design on complex to very complex system components. · Translates design into functional, well-documented code that follows standards, is easily maintained, and efficient. · Performs analysis and conceptual design to ensure high-level designs are accurately documented and receive the appropriate stakeholder approval. · Participates in definition of functional and non-functional requirements of a system. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: · Requires BA/BS in computer science or information systems; · 7+years of application development experience required ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. · An expert knowledge of analysis, design, coding and testing concepts is required for this position. · Expert in understanding and using analysis, design, coding and testing concepts. · Requires an understanding of the overall system architecture and the impact of changes to the system.
