*SQL DBA DALLAS, TX 75202 Duration: 6 months, possible perm opp Max Pay: $45/hr on C2C or 1099 (AI) Authorization: GreenCard or Citizens* *Must-haves* 9+ Years of experience as a SQL DBA supporting MS SQL Server Environments (2008 and 2012) Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL server CPU, memory, and disk space related issues Clustering experience Experience with backups restores and recovery models Experience implementing operational automation Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design Writing and improving SQL Server T-SQL queries Strong Documentation skills (creating knowledge base systems, runbooks, and typology) *Plusses* Strong knowledge or windows server, security delegation, SPNs, and storage components Knowledge of 3rd party DBA tools and applications (redgate, idera, SCOM, Erwin) MCDBA / MCT certification Scripting Powershell, VBScript, WSH *Role* You will be responsible for providing operational database services to the organization on a daily basis. Your primary responsibilites daily will including owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and request, fulfilling requests and resolving incidents within SLAs and making sure those issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
