Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement.* * * * * *Title: SharePoint Solution Developer* *Duration: 6-12+ Months* *Location: NYC, NY* * * *Note: Consultant has be local to NYC and need a F2F.* * * * * *Job Description:* We are seeking Senior level SharePoint Solution Developer with experience in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications. In addition, Candidate will have experience with SharePoint Technologies (WSS 3.0, SPS 2003, MOSS 2007/2010, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services) in a variety of business environments. Experiences with earlier releases of SharePoint are highly valued. * * *Engagement Location and Hours:* The engagement will take place at our NYC location. Consultants during this engagement are expected to travel 10% within the 5 boroughs of NYC. * * *Required Skills:* • Has vast experience and detailed knowledge of Event Receivers, Feature Receivers, Custom Content Types, List Definitions, Web Parts, Custom Web Parts, Custom Workflows using Visual Studio, site definitions and list definitions. • Must be able to develop, code, install, test, debug, and document custom applications • Must have very strong Web development experience (HTML, XML,* *CSS, XSL, XSLT, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Jquery). • Must have a strong understanding and experience on development best practice. • Must have very strong Object Oriented Programming experience. • Minimum 6+ years of IT Experience and 3+ years of SharePoint development experience • Strong Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 architecture, design, implementation and deployment experience including creation of custom web parts. • Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010 and SharePoint Designer 2007/2010. • Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. • Design, develop, and maintain custom components (master pages, workflows, user controls, web parts and server-side code, InfoPath forms etc.) for corporate intranet web sites and client portals deployed to SharePoint 2010. • Develop custom applications in support of enterprise projects utilizing SharePoint in a way that leverages the use of OOTB SharePoint features and functionality. • Design and develop OOTB workflows and custom workflows using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Visio 2010, or Visual Studio. • SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the data view web part (DVWP), content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization. • Very Strong Site collection administration experience. • Deep understanding and hands on experience with a large size SharePoint farm. • Strong experience with Power Shell. * * * * * * *ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:* • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business both verbally and in writing • Ability to lead complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming and unit testing for information worker applications based on Microsoft technologies. • Experience producing end-user and technical documentation. • Ability to work independently with users and executives to expand the use of SharePoint to address business issues. • Can help others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function. • Must be able to take creative approaches to solving challenging problems • Must have the ability to meet tight deliverable deadlines * * *Qualifications:* * * • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology or related fields • Advanced Training and Certification preferred Thanks and Regards, Arjun/InfoTech Spectrum Inc.
