*JOB TITLE*: UNIX admin * LOCATION* : NC-North Carolina/Mooresville *DURATION* : 4-6 Months *M.O.I*: Telephonic + Face2Face EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Looking for a Systems Engineer to provide tier 3 UNIX support to our client. Their duties would include processing or troubleshooting Service Desk tickets as assigned. They should have the ability to resolve assigned tickets in a timely manner as well as be viewed positively by the customers as courteous and helpful. They should be able to provide advanced systems administration (AIX, Linux, Solaris) and on-call support as required to all supported servers. They should have the ability to identify and implement proactive services that accurately monitor and report systems status information for the purpose of maximizing uptime and optimizing systems performance. Rapid response and remediation to problems or deficiencies is essential. They should identify and provide proactive corrective actions for repeat failed systems, target systems for continual system improvement and develop process, changes and measure- ments that will reduce system failures.
