*Location: **Austin, TX* *Duration: 2-3 years contract* *Rate: Open * *Client: 3M* * * **** Long-term Contract position **** **** MUST be LOCAL to the Austin region (about 100+ miles driving distance) **** **** Will have a F2F Interview after Phone screening **** *Skills: *.NET, C#, VB *Experience: *8+ yrs Role and Responsibilities This position is responsible for working interdependently with a team of support personnel to develop and resolve business applications concerns from customers in a timely and qualitative manner within the Motor Vehicle Division of 3M. This includes working with the support management to create and or utilize technical specifications to provide enhancements and issue resolution to an existing suite of applications currently in production, while adhering to standards and guidelines within 3M MVS. In addition, the support developer will be responsible for assisting with existing efforts to improve or modify existing R&D efforts when customer support is not required. The candidate should have a solid understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles, a solid understanding of .NET, experience debugging and analyzing code, and working with team members to ensure a high quality end product. Qualifications and Education Requirements · Minimum 5 years of experience coding in .NET environment with emphasis on C# and SQL Server · Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
