*BUSINESS ANALYST (Taxation)* *Carson City, NV* *6 months*** Project Overview: • The Business Analyst will be engaged to perform the maintenance activities normally performed by Taxation staff who will be otherwise engaged in implementing a new tax type. • The Business analyst will participate in the requirements gathering and design for the new tax type and will produce the needed documentation. • The Business Analyst will also be tasked with developing the required Systems Integration Testing scripts, execution of System Integration Testing Scripts documenting results and assisting with User Acceptance Testing. Required Skills for the Business Analyst: • Three (3) or more years experience as a Business Analyst on large scale IT projects; • Strong work flow analysis abilities; • Strong communication skills with end-users and technicians; • Experience producing documentation for the following: • functional requirements • system design documentation • Experience in developing desk procedures • Experience with developing system integration testing scripts and conditions; • Experience executing system test scripts and document results • Demonstrated experience in software development life cycle; • Experience in conducting formal testing (System Integration and UAT); • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
