*Location: Newark/DE & Washington/DC (2 Locations)* *Duration: 6 Month* *Interview Mode: Phone & Skype* *Need USC, GC or EAD-GC only!!!* *Required:* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Routing and Switching certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCAr or equivalent. Minimum eight (8) years of progressive, relevant engineer experience as described below (including experience as a Senior Engineer) OR the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training demonstrating the following: - Performing complex work independently, effectively incorporating engineering theories, standards, concepts, and techniques as well as engineering/industry/government codes and regulations, specifically: - Performing and interpreting COMPLEX engineering and/or economic data analyses for LARGE AND/OR COMPLEX engineering projects, using specialized utility programs and/or vendor-specific software; - Developing creative solutions to COMPLEX problems; - Managing multiple COMPLEX engineering projects/assignments and ensuring work conforms to project/task requirements, including coordinating work across different areas, departments and/or work groups, developing costing estimates, scope documents, schedules, and reports; - Identifying the need for new COMPLEX projects/initiatives and recommending a solution; - Mentoring engineers and others in a variety of engineering projects/activities; and, - Keeping abreast of new equipment, methods and developments in an engineering specialty. - Knowledge of NERC CIP Standards and their impact on electric system operations. - Experience demonstrating skill developing procedures to ensure cyber security. - Experience demonstrating skill conducting risk assessments, security testing, vulnerability assessments to identify gaps and ensuring compliance with established standards. - Experience demonstrating skill developing remediation plans and overseeing remediation. - Extensive experience demonstrating skill presenting oral and written results of engineering projects. - Experience demonstrating skill using and configuring network tools (for example, SolarWinds, VitalQIP, Network General Sniffer Portable, WireShark, Entersys products, Visio, and/or CA products). - Experience demonstrating skill with Network Routing Protocols such as IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIPv1, RIPv2, IS-IS, EBGP, and/or BGP. - Experience demonstrating skill with Routed Network Protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, BOOTP, SSH, FTP. TFTP, SMTP, SNMP, SLIP, PPP, ARP, RARP, and/or SIP. - Experience demonstrating skill with Networks such as Ethernet, ATM, SONET, ISDN, OSI, Frame Relay, T1 and/or T3. - Experience demonstrating skill installing and configuring network support systems (for example, syslog servers, radius servers, bootp/dhcp servers, ftp servers, tftp servers, ntp servers, dns servers, Microsoft Windows and/or windows product installs). - Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, database, and e-mail software. - Experience demonstrating skill using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and e-mail software. *Preferred:* Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering Management. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Experience demonstrating skill with legal review or audit examinations.
