Location: Bristol, CT Duration: 6+ months Locals ONLY Basically someone with good experience in QA and: - Excellent Sports Knowledge to work with Ingame and Replay tools inhouse. - Knows QualityCenter very well - Communicates clearly and not afraid to ask questions - Can pick up on how our application works quickly - Good at reviewing requirements - Good at converting requirements to test cases and running them - Very good at identifying and managing defects using QualityCenter Experience on QTP and any development knowledge is a plus. The Sports Data Repository (SDR) database and its related services provide the vast majority of real-time sports data for client broadcasts and digital media. SDR also is the database upon which the core Stats & Analysis (S&A) user applications are built. SDR was built several years ago and was not designed to disseminate data across the client platforms as they exist today. In addition, the SDR supporting toolset was initially developed for a third-party data provider. Although client has been able to make modifications and add functionality to respond to new business drivers in recent years, it has been forced to make adjustments within the constraints of an outdated business model. Over time this has resulted in technical and workflow inefficiencies and an infrastructure that has become increasingly difficult to support and build upon. This has placed client in jeopardy of falling behind agile competitors.
