*Responsibilities:*
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to facilitate
Flex/ActionScript development
- Work with a QA team for code build/releases, test-case design
validation, and defect resolution
- Work with a Team Lead/Project Manager for planning, estimation,
documentation, and status reporting
- Multiple years of technical experience, including completion of at
least four full professional software engineering projects across multiple
platforms
- 2+ years of experience developing Flex applications
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Familiarity with Flex frameworks
- Experience with the Flex component life cycle
- Experience with software design fundamentals and design patterns
- Experience with enterprise integration (service protocols: SOAP, AMF,
JSON, XML)
- Understanding of traditional waterfall and agile software development
methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Rational Unified Process,
and Lean Software Development
- Experience with tuning and refactoring Flex code
Experience in multiple industries, including financial services,
insurance, media, and healthcare
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with HTML 5, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience developing multi-channel applications across web and mobile
devices
