Job Description:*
- Our direct client is looking for senior
C# .Net developer to work on a .NET platform using Agile processes
to develop and implement software solutions.
- The senior .NET Developer must have 5 – 7 years of developing web and
windows based applications using the Microsoft stack.
- The developer should be proficient using
C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET Visual Studio 2010 and 2012, IIS 7, Oracle, SQL
Server
2008, MySQL and web application development using XML, AJAX,
JQUERY, JSON, MVC Razor.
*Responsibilities:*
- The VB/C# .NET developer will work on a
.NET platform using Agile processes to develop and implement
software solutions.
- Work with other .Net C# Developers,
Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and other
departments to develop both new and expand functionality to existing
applications.
- Business areas will include Affiliates,
Advertising Sales, Broadcasting System & Corporate sales.
*Required**
skills and experience:*
- 5 – 7 years of experience with *C# .NET, Visual Studio, ASP .NET, and
IIS.*
- Infragistics, ComponentOne, and Telerik controls a plus.
- *Drupal and MySQL* experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of web application development including *JavaScript, XML,
and AJAX*.
- 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008 Structure Query
Language (*T-SQL*) Stored Procedures Object Oriented Development.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Stored Procedures & Packages
Oriented Development.
- Media industry experiences a plus.
- 2+ years of Web Services experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, recognize and react to
changing business needs and effectively prioritize tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines, identify issues and resolve with minimal
direction
- Must be self-motivated and able to work
both independently and in conjunction with team members and product
groups. Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects
are
necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain
familiarity.
*Education:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or
related field
