Laurel NJ *Duration* 6 months /Contract * ** Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: Telephonic and Face to Face* *Specific Job Responsibilities* Attend and actively participate in business requirement review meetings. Provide high-level assessments of work effort based upon the details that are discussed in the meetings. Possess the ability to explain these estimates in technical terms as well as non-technical terms that can be understood by business staff. Assist the Business Analysts and Lead Developer with the definition of the data elements, screen and design and application screen flow. Assist the Lead Developer with the definition of programming tasks within a project. Complete complex programming assignments and provide knowledge transfer to other IT staff regarding the details of the solution that was created. Share programming knowledge with IT staff at all times. Participate in regular code reviews with all programmers and provide guidance on any aspects of the application that do not adhere to standard practices. Prepare technical documentation. Participate in the resolution of application support issues that arise during QA testing and research any issues that require programming changes. *Education and Experience* * *Must have *5 or more years of experience with complex system design* in the User Interface, Business Logic and Database layers. *Technical Skills/Requirements* Extensive experience with each of the following application development skills is required: - C# .NET 4.x, 3.x, 2.0 - ASP.NET *Web Forms and ASP.NET MVC* - ASP.NET *Web Services, ASP.NET WCF, ASP.NET Web API* - *Entity Framework and LINQ* - *HTML5,CSS3, JQuery, Javascript, AJAX* - Third Party Controls, Telerik Preferrer - *T-SQL* using SQL Server 2008 or higher - Create Tables, Views, Stored Procedures and User Functions - Design Relational Tables using proper indexing and security 1. Experience with the following technologies is a plus: - Automated Unit-Testing - Application Design Patterns - Multi-Tier Application Design - Web Application Security 1. Must have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Server Operating System (Windows 2008 R2) and the desktop environment (Windows 7 and Windows XP) 2. Experience with an Agile Scrum development team is preferred. *Special Skills/Requirements* 1. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. 2. Must be able to complete programming tasks using Microsoft Development tools based upon complex business requirements and system design specifications. 3.
