*Position *: DELOITTE DEVELOPER with puredata or netezza *Location*: McLean, VA *Duration*: 4 months · All Inclusive rate so LOCAL is preferred. · M-F onsite but can be flexible to work remote for couple of days etc · 9 hour days We need 1-2 resources with *IBM PureData* or *Netezza*. IBM acquired Netezza. *ROLE**: Developer* *Responsibilities * • Responsible for Development in Netezza, Data Migration from various data sources, Adhoc Data loading. • Experience developing enterprise web applications communicating with Netezza. • Strong background in development of Netezza and integration with front end and back end components in support of a Netezza. • Possess the knowledge of migrating Oracle/SQL server databases to Netezza via functional/technical ports. • Develops Technical Designs, develops ETL/ELT Job Streams and follows application development methodology. *Qualifications:* • Experience working in Netezza. • Full systems life cycle experience including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, requirements specifications, detail design, program specifications, coding and unit/system testing. • Deep knowledge of NZSQL, Unix Shell Scripting and PL/SQL. • Hadoop / BigData: Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack will be helpful but not required. • Managed Hadoop clusters : setup, install, monitor, maintain • ETL experience with Strong DW concepts and analytical skills. • Extensive software development experience in Data Warehouse. • Experience in Performance Tuning, Accessing Very Large Tables.
