   - *Job Requirements**:*

–     Experience *upgrading Oracle E-Business Apps from 11.5.10.2 to R12.*

–     Experience managing and tuning *Oracle database 11g.*

–     Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time

–     Troubleshoot issues in *all aspects of applications – Database,
Middle tier (apache/jvm, oc4j, etc.) , Forms, Concurrent Manager, Reports,
Discoverer, B*

–     *Use AD utilities – adpatch, adadmin, adrelink.*

–     Read and interpret documents and instructions from customers,
vendors, and other employees

–     Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees

–     Oracle performance tuning using TKPROF, Explain Plan, Enterprise
Manager and operating system utilities

–     Multi-task and prioritize workload

–     Work within the appropriate level of independence

–     Function in a fast-paced environment

–     If applicable, ability to travel for meetings with customers,
vendors, other employees, and/or other business necessities

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS*:

   - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business
   or equivalent experience
   - 8 to 10 years of Data Base Administration experience including Oracle,
   Informix, Microsoft SQL Server
   - Ability to administer and support Oracle 10g, 11g and SQL databases.
   - Demonstrated strong technical and analytical ability
   - Effective in team setting or as individual contributor
   - Strong written and oral communication skills.
   - Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle databases using grid control.
   - Ability to Upgrade and maintain large databases.
   - Ability to develop design, test, and deployment documentation.
   - Ability to foster a sense of teamwork and cross-functional
   collaboration
   - Ability to work effectively with partners from varied and diverse
   backgrounds and at all levels of the organization
   - Ability to work on nights and weekends to support systems
   - Experience with Backup and Recovery methodologies and tools (RMAN
   preferred).
   - Experience in UNIX environments (HP, SUN, Linux)
   - Experience with Oracle database performance and tuning (AWR reports,
   explain plans, 10G/11G Advisors)
   - Strong knowledge about Oracle Financials application and database.
   - Experience creating a high availability of the databases.
   - Experience performing Oracle installations, upgrades, and installing
   patches.
   - Monitoring, tuning and capacity planning experience.
   - Support the IT implementation teams to develop database models
   (logical and physical) and implementation.
   - Knowledge of ad-hoc queries, SQL, Procedures, PL/SQL.
   - Implement database change requests, patches, monitoring tools, and
   resolve exceptions, alerts and issues.
   - Oracle Forms and Reports.
   - OCP certification in Oracle 10g or 11g databases is desirable.
