Please respond back with an updated resume and all inclusive rates to [email protected] *Position: AS400 Admin* *Location: Huston TX* *Duration: 6 months* *Job Description:* § 15+ years of AS400 admin experience in providing Level 2 and Level 3 Support § 3rd party software –DBU (required); AM2000, Robot (Scheduler, Reports, Alert), NetIQ, Itera, BRMS, Hawkeye, FASTFAX (desired), Turnover including administration, installation, upgrade and usage § iOS (v6r1) and program products, iSeries Security, MQ § SNA (Enterprise Extender), TCP/IP, FTP, ODBC § Performance monitoring § Websphere application servers on iSeries § Backup and recovery procedures *DR responsibility:* o Manage high availability environment for 70+ AS400 systems. Software used for high availability is iTera V 6.0. o Perform Role swaps and failovers as and when required. o Manage automation around failover process, o Troubleshoot iTera § Production servers responsibility: (90+ production, 75+ DR) § Manage AS400 connectivity with other AS400s, Micro focus environments (7 different connection types).
