The QA Automation Engineer assists QA Testers, QA Analysts, and IT personnel by developing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test scripts using a variety of test tools. *Responsibilities:* • Develops, executes, and maintains automated load/stress/performance test plans, test data, and test scripts to verify conformance to requirements and established guidelines. • Assists Quality Analysts and Testers using various automation tools to automate repeatable processes and reduce test execution time. • Collaborates with Application Development and Infrastructure teams to resolve issues discovered during testing. • Writes test plans to ensure effective development of QA automation strategies and implementation of testing. • Assists business users in developing and understanding performance requirements. • Expert ability to collaborate with diverse sets of people and encourage team work within the QA team, as well as other teams. • Responsible for all aspects of the quality process for one or more applications, from requirements analysis, to test planning, test ware creation, test execution and defect management. • Works with a variety of project groups during various stages of the project to ensure that quality assurance is maintained through the duration of the project. • Reviews requirement documentation from IT staff to ensure that it is complete and follows up if any information is missing or unclear. *Requirements:* • Bachelor’s degree required in IT, business or other related field. • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position with experience in quality assurance and test automation. • Technical skills in a variety of testing software programs such as HP QTP, Selenium, and Java or other open source automation tools. • Linux, and Hudson skills are a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
