We have an Urgent opening .Please see the Job Description Below and let me know if you have any consultant available.**** ** ** *Position - Windows 7 Admin* *Location -* *Baltimore, MD* *Duration - 6 Months+ with possibility of extension* * * *Role Windows 7 Admin and Testing* * * *Mandatory Technical Skills * Receives direction and oversight from the CENG Site IT Lead**** Analyzes LANDesk scans and user’s PC to determine application installs.**** Conducts user interviews to determine applications in-use, required.**** Verifies the IT and Business Contact Names for the applications.**** Provides input to verify/update application information in CENG’s application inventory database.**** Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.**** Works with vendors to determine if current application version or new version is compatible/supported on Windows 7.**** * * *Mandatory Functional Skills * Performs software application install testing on Windows 7 Operating System* *** Determines the application’s installation Pass/Fail status.**** Performs first-level troubleshooting on applications that failed the Install test**** Analyzes failed installs and suggest a work-around/solution.**** Familiar with various application licensing methods.**** Consults with users to identify proper install settings, configurations, etc. for application installs.**** Documents instructions for packaging an application.
