*SUMMARY*
Our Corporate Application’s Development & Support team is looking for a
Software Quality Assurance Lead. This position will be a key role in
defining the Oshkosh testing methodology. This person would be responsible
for ensuring the quality of our internal applications by testing and
confirming the functionality by testing interfaces, documenting results,
associating trends, and recognizing deficiencies. One must utilize and
apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT
processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of
business investments in IT initiatives. Assist in developing and
establishing Quality Assurance standards and measures within the department.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
1. Define the standards and methodology to follow for testing.
2. Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal
application performance according to specifications.
3. Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems
meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical
specifications.
4. Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed.
5. Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business
requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify
existing or potential issues.
6. Make recommendations for improvement of applications.
7. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant
information to project stakeholders and management.
8. Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any
defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
9. Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing
standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing
applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
10. Assist in the development of change control processes, practices,
and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
11. Participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth
end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
12. All other duties as assigned.

*BASIC QUALIFICATIONS*
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- 8-plus years relevant experience
* *
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
- Experience in the following areas:
-Client/server applications testing
-Test case development
-Writing solid bug reports
-Test automation
-Manual and automated testing
- A minimum of 3 years experience in testing interfaces, quality
assurance, or related field
- *Strong analysis and knowledge of data scrubs and data migration, as
well as ability to run shell scripts *
- Must be able to work on multiple projects of varying size and
complexity
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong quality and risk quantification skills
