We need to fill these positions ASAP.* *RoR Architect –* The purpose of this job is to contribute as an individual in the existing team of RoR developers on our client project and function as a technical lead/ RoR solution architect. *Specific duties include:* Conceptualize and build efficient, well-organized web applications Create RoR class diagrams and RoR data models to provide the right solution for customer Build quick prototypes and proof of concept to validate the solution proposed Provide technical guidance, thought leadership and solution in RoR and PostGres space to the technical team and customer Present the solution and prototype to customer and proof the ability to build the solution in RoR conventional designs. Mentor the current RoR team lead *Qualifications:* Prior proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications/ components in web environment at multiple clients. Be familiar with latest trends in RoR, web design and technologies Rapidly solve problems Experience with object oriented analysis and design Strong hold on relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL Superb analytical skills, self directed, excellent communication skills, strong team ethic, and pays close attention to details Any certification on RoR will be a plus *RoR Developer –* The purpose of this job is to contribute as an individual in the existing team of Ruby on Rails developers on our client project and function as a senior developer. *Specific duties include:* Conceptualize and build efficient, well-organized web applications Work on all levels of the technical stack, from front-end styling to back-end coding Be 100% hand-on Understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues in RoR applications Ability to write unit test cases, code reviews, refactor the code and implement new features using MVC design patterns Understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues in RoR applications Mentor and train the team of RoR developers Ability to work effectively in an onsite-offshore model. *Qualifications:* Prior experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails based components in a consumer facing web environment Experience in XHTML (HTML 5 a plus), Javascript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques required Be familiar with trends in web design and technologies Rapidly solve problems and bugs Experience with object oriented analysis and design is must. Strong hold on relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL Thorough knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and RESTFUL API.
