*Purpose:* - Resident with Host-Based Operating System and migration skill-sets for *AIX and Sun Solaris*. - Ideally the candidates should poses skills with both OS’s. - They have between 50-100 servers that will be effected by this host based migration effort. - AIX represents the biggest need, however the more problematic OS will be Sun Solaris from a qualification standpoint on VMAX (may require various updates to be compliant). - Specific hands on storage skills are ideal, but not necessary. - The tools available for host based migrations will be PowerPath where applicable and supported, LVM using the native mirroring tools of the OS, VERITAS Volume Manager, and VERITAS File System Manager. - Need well rounded System Administrator skills with recent applicable experience with the AIX/Solaris/LVM/VVM/etc.... - On the AIX side experience utilizing the Vscsi adapter technology is required. - On the Solaris side experience with Jumpstart is requested.
