*[email protected] <[email protected]>* Role HADR/Disaster Recovery Solution Architect Mandatory Technical Skills The candidate is responsible to design various DR risk mitigating solutions and strategies, such as data replication, data storage, network analysis, security products, firewalls, switches, etc. Individual will work closely with Enterprise Architect Area and DR Project managers helping to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective operational processes and services. Individual should have advanced level knowledge of networking enterprise class hardware including router, LAN, WAN, VPN, IPS, etc. Must Have • Expertise in data center Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity design, implementation and testing. • Expertise in load balancing and active-active data center HA architecture. • Expertise in architecting for scalability and performance. Individual will work closely with Enterprise Architect Area and DR Project managers helping to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective operational processes and services. Individual should have advanced level knowledge of networking enterprise class hardware including router, LAN, WAN, VPN, IPS, etc. Roles and Responsibility • Assess requirements for DR replication, failover, failback environments, offer solution options and recommendation, setup proof of concept testing and solution bakeoff, technical diagrams and documentation, assist with implementation of technology in Prod and DR, monitor, report and resolve replication / storage issues • Evaluate new emerging technologies and solutions • Evaluate existing technologies and solutions globally for simplification, consolidation, and standardization. • Provide consulting and mentoring services as needed to assist program / project teams in applying the HADR architectural strategy properly • Participate in the governance oversight committee to ensure that the strategies are executed properly. • Successfully influence all stakeholder groups to improve, accept, and implement the technology strategies. • Present architectural strategy to Infrastructure Services Delivery and Business Unit leaders for approval. • Develops technical documentation of systems for High Availability.(HADR) Mandatory Functional Skills Good Team player, Excellent Analytical Skills, Ability to work under pressure, Good communication skills, Does continual learning. Desirable Functional Skills Total Experience Required 10+ Years with 5+ years’ experience in a strategic or architectural leadership role Preferred sourcing option BA Education Bachelor’s degree required with a emphasis in computer science preferred.
