*Overview:*
The Excess Product Pushlist will allow Sales and Marketing users to sell
overage or near expiration product before it goes to the Wholesale
Pushlist. Capturing the endangered product before it reaches the Wholesale
Pushlist will allow us to save an additional $.30 - $.40 cents per pound.
This mobile application will display product information and allow
real-time visibility to what is available to sell. The salespeople will be
able to view information regarding quantity available, asking price, sell
by date, etc. before speaking with their customers. Once sold, the
salesperson will complete a small form and the product will be removed from
the Excess Product Pushlist so it is not double-sold.
*Technology Overview:*
This app will be developed using:
HTML5 (web-sockets experience needed)
Twitter Bootstrap3
jQuery
JavaScript
SQL backend
REST based WCF web services
It will need to be accessible via iPhone, iPad, laptop, and desktop
computers. We will need WCF webservices to authenticate the users, add
product, update product, and delete product from the Pushlist.
Additionally, we will need to implement a logging webservice to capture
details around sales activity.
*Qualifications*
5-7 years of UI development experience
Strong experience with HTML5, Bootstrap3, Jquery, Java script and Rest web
services
Excellent experience with SQL Based backend work, SQL, queries etc….
