There is an urgent requirement of *Backend Services Sr Developer @ **New York. *If interested then please send your updated resume ASAP. *Position : **Backend Services Sr Developer* *Location:* *New York* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* *Relevant Experience (Yrs): 5-8 years* *Technical/Functional Skills :* -Five (5) years experience in Java development and leadership experience; -Must have demonstrated proficiency with the following technologies and frameworks: Java EE, Apache, SOAP, XML/WSDL/XSL, DB2 (SQL). -Must have demonstrated proficiency with technical reviews of the project deliverables for the application which is Java based and uses XML API web services. -Must have demonstrated proficiency with database principles and proficiency with DB2 database. -Must be highly analytical with strong research skills, able to discern key issues and information in complex situations and resolve problems effectively -Must have excellent oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills; strong planning -skills and understanding of delegation management principles; attention to detail, persistence and follow-through; and appetite for learning and acquiring necessary knowledge quickly. *Roles & Responsibilities:* Working closely with onsite end users to understand Lead the design, development and maintenance of five (5) or more applications focused on supporting the Airline Content Hub application Manage and assign resources during all phases of the project. Perform technical reviews of the project deliverables for the application which is a Java based middleware component using XML API web services. Responsible for the quality of deliverables of a combined onshore/offshore team. Apply ability to multi-task and manage multiple, concurrent development streams. Provide consultation for new products or new enhancements; research and analyze impact. Involvement in determining how product will be maintained to include identification of tools needed and who will be responsible for maintenance and support. Review code and reports, maintain and distribute timely documentation as required. Analyze, research and provide system enhancement recommendations for customer inquiries post-project implementation.
