In this
role:
The SaaS Systems Engineer is responsible for all the systems
engineering and the related operational aspects of the companies SaaS platform.
You will be responsible for engineering a scalable infrastructure and will drive
the operational efficiencies and availability of the platform.
Skill
Set:
- 8 to 10+ years expertise in large-scale Linux/Unix and Windows
based systems and platforms in a high traffic, high bandwidth internet facing
environments.
- Strong experience in Cloud infrastructures, cloud technologies
and cloud platforms.
- Solid experience in a variety of operating systems including
RedHat Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS.
- 3+ years of solid expertise in virtualization is
required.
- Experience in designing, deploying and managing NAS
systems.
- Strong experience writing complex scripts (shell, perl, php,
python) to automate administrative tasks, run audits, and perform deployment
tasks.
- Highly experienced in change management and automation protocols,
including related technologies such as Chef, Puppet, and
CFEngine.
- knowledge of LDAP, and Active
Director
- Strong Comm skills (verbal & written)
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional
global team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
areas.
Nice to
Have:
- Knowledge of Amazon AWS or
EC2
- Experience with SAN storage solutions would be a
plus.
- Experience with of networking and security concepts and
solutions.
