We are currently seeking experienced AIX Systems
Administrators (production support) to join our team in supporting a Fortune 100
data warehouse environment. Be a part of a world-class data center,
and a 24x7 support team dealing with enterprise AIX production issues.

appreciated. There are multiple open positions. To be qualified, candidates must
have: ·
5+ years of AIX
administration in large production environment ·
Intermediate (2-4
years) experience with UNIX shell scripting ·
Production
Support experience ·
Experience
supporting clustered environments ·
Experience
administering SAN connections to AIX ·
Experience
supporting GPFS Selected individuals will work
to: ·
Provide UNIX AIX
System Administration support to a world-class data center / data warehouse ·
AIX Production
Support experience ·
Install,
configure, and support AIX / UNIX servers, apply patches, software and hardware
updates. ·
Support server
clustering solutions and support of GPFS (General Parallel File System) ·
Support
virtualized AIX servers (V10) ·
Provide on-call
support, troubleshooting of performance issues, break/fix, security monitoring,
patch application and operating system upgrades in a 24x7x365 environment
(rotating and flexible shift assignments is required.) ·
Develop
maintenance procedures, proposals, plans and guidelines for system
configuration, deployment, and support. ·
Provide technical
solutions and guidance for internal customers and team members in all aspects of
AIX configurations. ·
Perform and
assist internal customers and team members in resolving operations issues. ·
Maintain a
thorough working knowledge of the various IBM hardware and libraries, IBM
technologies, policies, procedures and best practices ·
Suggest ways to
improve/expand upon the efficiency of UNIX
