Preferred hands-on experience in administration and configuration Symantec/VERITAS NetBackup platform, Symantec OpsCenter, multi-vendor Tape Library solutions, systems administration (UNIX, Linux, WinTel), · Requires experience deploying, configuring & trouble shooting NetBackup Master & Media servers 7.x, NDMP Drives, Oracle RMAN, and Virtual Machine Backups. · Individual would be expected to work with remote team members as well as working with local NYC team members. The ability to manage an individual book of work and maintain consistent team interaction is critical. · Individual should possess project & program management expertise with a focus on delivery execution & excellence. Tracking delivery milestones, timelines, resources & related budgets · Individual must be comfortable with evening and/or weekend work hours to accommodate common change activities and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
