Virginia, United States Description: Project Manager Project Manager to be responsible for the performance of a medium to
large sized technical project, several small or medium sized projects, or a
definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract
requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. In this role, you
will direct and supervise all support resources for the performance of project
assignments and activities, and will manage the technical direction of a project
through the design, implementation and testing in accordance with project
objectives. You will be required to use Client's program management tools to
manage project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies, and to produce
status reports and conduct status meetings and facilitates issue resolution and
risk management sessions. Required Skills: Ø 10+ Years of progressive IT experience and 6-8+ years of project
management experience Ø PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
Ø Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e.
Microsoft project) Ø Attention to detail Ø Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Ø Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
Ø Ability to resolve highly complex technical issues
Ø Ability to manage, coordinate, guide a project team of technical
professionals Ø Outstanding leadership skills Ø Ability to manage complex projects Ø Excellent negotiation skills Ø Ability to work well with senior management Samir
