*POSITION : *XenApp consultant *LOCATION: *Lexington, KY *DURATION: **6+ months* *INTERVIEW: **Phone, possible f2f or skype* *START DATE: *12/16/13 Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains computer systems to meet functional objectives of the business. Will have responsibility with design, implementation and some project management of small teams. *Specific needs:* XenApp consultant responsible for upgrading, maintaining and administering a global Citrix/XenApp environment. *Recommended qualifications:* •Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level •Exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writing skills. •Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with infrastructure engineering and other internal organizations at a peer level •Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of nationwide team of engineers •Demonstrated aptitude for providing exceptional customer service in politically charged environments •Actively participate in team support by proposing and implementing solutions *Technical Requirements:* •Solid understanding of standard client/server, networking, and Internet fundamentals. •Superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in XenApp 4.5 and 6.5 environments •Experience in managing medium to large environments. •Able to troubleshoot all aspects of Citrix/XenApp effectively •Secondary expertise in at least one of the following: Access Gateway/Netscaler, Windows 2003/2008 Server Operating Systems, XenDesktop.
