*Position: Java Developer With GWT * *Duration: Long Term Contract* *Location: Cedar Rapids, IA.* *Must HAVE GWT experience!* Design, develop, test and implement all components, equipment, and software within the functional area of the organization. Applies commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of simple to moderate scope. Exercises judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Identifies issues and provides resolution within the workgroup or to the customer. Normally receives detailed instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments. Codes business logic, screen interfaces, and database interfaces using database specific languages. May assist in performing the tests in the testing process for small application releases or complex software enhancements. Performs other duties as assigned. Special Requirements/ Certifications: Java web application development experience required. PL/SQL & GWT experience preferred Good knowledge of accepted engineering practices. Good analytical skills; the ability to prioritize projects; good oral and written communication skills; and good interpersonal skills. Good understanding of telecommunications industry helpful.
