*JOB TITLE: Business Analyst* *Location: CT-Connecticut/Norwalk* *Duration: 1 Year* *M.O.I Telephonic + Skype* *EXPERIENCE WITH Enterprise Data Management (EDM) IS MUST* *Role Summary* Provide analytical support to "EDM - Product Data Council " initiative by supporting the development of Product Hierarchy through cross-functional engagement. Create master data dictionary for all critical Product attributes. Support gap assessment on hierarchy(ies) usage and develop implementation plan to remediate gaps across HQ and BU users. Partner with the Enterprise Solutions and Risk system teams to develop a vision for a centralized IT solution to permit users to view/retrieve Product attributes from centralized master data dictionary. *Essential Responsibilities* Develop master internal and external Product hierarchy(ies) for Commercial, Consumer and Liquidity Liability portfolio by determining the lowest common denominators or attributes. Create master data dictionary containing attribute name, definition, current "source of truth ", etc. for all critical Product attributes Complete gap assessment of hierarchy(ies) usage and develop implementation plan to remediate gaps. Assist in creating a communication protocol to all stakeholders at HQ and BUs to inform & enforce usage of master data dictionary & hierarchy(ies) Write procedures & SOPs to govern the work of the council, as well as data lineage maps describing the flow of Product information to various downstream activities. Partner with Enterprise Solutions and HQ Risk systems team to develop and/or validate a centralized IT solution to permit users of Product information to view/retrieve Product attributes from centralized master data dictionary *Qualifications/Requirements* Basic Requirements: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities Prior work experience in enterprise data projects and or analyzing risk/business data with the ability to distill large amounts of information to the critical areas of focus Ability to work in a matrix environment and drive initiatives across organization Bachelor's Degree Proficient use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Access, MS Project) *Desired Characteristics:* Client/ GECC Experience Excellent organizational, follow-up, analytical and problem solving skills Successfully led cross functional projects/process improvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
