Long term Must have experience in directing the efforts of 5 or more
developers . Candidates selected will work with the data architects to carve the
project up into tasks which some will be assigned to subordinates and the
rest will be the responsibility of the lead developer. Must have very strong
development skills to be able to spot problems with the work of subordinates.
Skills List: TD SQL - required Have a
comfort level with writing native TD SQL (not a tool dependent developer) –
required and an absolute must have Unix
shell scripting – ability to write shell scripts that call TD utilities for
processing as well as manipulate files -
required Hands-On
Experience writing, debugging SQL for TD load utilities -
required Hands-On
Experience developing/creating TD DDL – tables, multi-table views,
denormalization, index selection, etc. -
required Hands-On
Experience writing, debugging TD macros, stored procedures -
required Tivoli (a plus)
Working
Knowledge/Understanding of physical database design (a
plus) Working
Knowledge/Understanding of performance optimization methods (a plus)
Hands-On
Experience with TD13.10 (a plus) Other Needs to be a
strong self-starter who can jump right in and operate on their own.

to be client facing and able to very comfortably communicate with the client and
