Immediate Interview!!! *Sr .Net Developer with GenTax exp* *Atlanta, GA* *Duration: 12-18+ Months* *Locals preferred!!! * *Telephonic + Skype ( Need Skype ID for the submission )!!! * .Net Application Developer This is an application developer position supporting configuration of all aspects of the GenTax® COTS (Commercial Off -The Shelf Software) application. This person will perform requirement gathering and analysis, application development for change requests, scripting, software debugging, source control, application testing preparation of implementation specifications and production application support. Candidate must possess good understanding of different software development methodologies; both traditional and Agile. Its basically a .NET Developer. Ideally they’d like VB.NET and C#, but if we are going to use an H1B candidate, they must have GenTax software experience – apparently that is developed in VB.NET This wont be a from scratch development, rather more of enhancements, some new development, but more maintaining and enhancing. *Minimum Requirements: * Candidates must possess a degree in: • Computer Science • Computer/Management Information Systems, or • Mathematics *Preferred Qualifications:* · Knowledge and experience working with software development organizations · Experience in MS Visual Basic (6 and .Net) preferred · Proficiency in MS Office Suite · Strong analytical and communication skills · Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn · Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices, Java/J2EE, XML and operational procedures · Working knowledge of SQL server or Oracle databases preferred *Other Notes:* · DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position.
