Provides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs. Designs and implements the components required for complex application features. Generally manages a group of applications systems analysts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Usually reports to a senior manager. The COOP COG Project Manager researches and analyzes the supported mission / business systems and applications within the State of Iowa. In collaboration with process owners, leaders and business managers the COOP COG Project Manager determines the RTO and RPO for critical processes supporting agency essential functions. The COOP COG Project Manager will develop a systems recovery matrix that will allow State of Iowa Directors, managers and staff a clear understanding of which mission critical systems must be brought back online in the case of a disaster or system outage. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
